Mapping European Social Market Economy: Review on social dialogue, labour market and employment

MESMER draws a map of social business and social economy, providing information on their potential as possible grounds for sustainable inclusive, innovative and profitable growth, from which all the community can benefit.

Particular reference will be made to the dimension of social dialogue, as the method for combining different demands and priorities of all stakeholders involved in the different dimensions of such peculiar economic environment.Social business and social enterprises are suitable to actively contribute to the development of a genuine social European market economy,

 

all the more as they are able to represent ground for proactive exchange and mutual collaboration among all relevant actors on the economic and social scenes: entrepreneurs, workers, social partners, investors, citizens, public authorities, policy makers. MESMER will provide recent and first hand informations, as well as a series of good practices of social dialogue, in order to feed the policy debate on future policy measures.

Moreover the project intends to follow the way of supporting the social economy paved by the European Commission through the Social Business Initiative.
